Cathy, Not sure if you already have this info.... Did Karl live in Poughkeepsie? I see a Karl in the 1920 Census. Says he was born abt 1868. Record shows he came from Germany in 1883 and is now a widow. Children listed are: Charles, William, Charlotte, Marie, Janet, and a grandson, Charles. Record shows he was a merchant (grocer).
