My step children are Britni and Derick Hasenkopf. Their mother, Barbara Lennon is your father's 1st cousin. I guess that makes Derick and Britni your second counsins. I have your line all the way back to John and his wife Deborah Newcombe. I have a copy of John's will. With the information I have you could join the Sons of the Revolution, if you are interested. John served in the 6th Dutchess Militia, Land Bounty Rights during the Rev. war and he signed the Articles of Association in Dutchess Co, indicating that he was a Patriot. I have looked for John's grave, but have not found it, although I am pretty certain he is buried in Acra cemetery, but his stone is lost. The land was acquired in April 1826 by a committee of men that included Cyrenus Lennon - your direct ancestor, and many of the early generation Lennons are buried there, including Cyrenus and his wife Mary Stoutenburgh.
