I was googling around for Poughkeepsie NY and found this website http://www.distantcousin.com/Directories/NY/Poughkeepsie/1896/ It has the 1896 directory on the site just pick the name you want to see and scan of the whole page comes up, you print these out. This was new to me but you all may have seen it. Just goes to show you google people and places every few months to see what comes up & go past the first few to see what gems are hidden in there, this was on page 2 but there are alot more to look at.
