Westchester County Genealogical Society (NY) Upcoming Meeting The next meeting to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of WCGS is this coming Saturday. TOPIC: Laura Lee Keating will present How We Looked—Who We Were to the WCGS. Ms. Keating, who is a retiree from AT&T, is a site interpreter at Philipsburg Manor Upper Mill as well as Town Historian for the Town of Cortlandt. She is also president of the Westchester County Civil War Roundtable and Director of the Friends of History in Croton, NY. To get there, take the Underhill Avenue exit from the Taconic State Parkway and head eastbound on Underhill Avenue for approximately two miles. Stay on it until you see the Yorktown Heights Engine Co. # 1. Turn left in front of the firehouse on to Commerce Street. At the first traffic light past the firehouse the Community Center will be on your right (it’s an old school building) at the intersection with Veteran’s Road.
