Here is my request: My grandfather, Addison Vail SMITH married about 1880 in the general Clinton / Stanford / Pleasant Valley ,Dutchess Co.,area--to Elizabeth G [ .BARLOW ].His parents were Stephen H.SMITH and Lydia Sally [VAIL ] of Stanford . They were Quaker and son Addison V. SMITH-- ' married out'--as the Quakers said. Elizabeth's parents I do not know . I have looked endlessly for the record of this marriage.
