He is next to Joel Reynolds, and also in the same town is Culver Gillett, who married Lydia Reynolds. Lydia and Joel are brother and sister daughter of David Reynolds who lived in Dutchess. So Lydia and Joel, as did the Gilletts, moved from Dutchess to Otsego (a lot of people did). Since Alva is there it is likely he might be closely related and also from Dutchess, but I have not found much of anything on him, but I have not spent a lot of time on it. Look on the maney tree and related trees for information. If you have since you posted this found anything, please reply back. Thanks.
