War pension file. The couple lived in Milan/NorthEast and went to "the city" to be married in 1775 (exact way it was stated in the file). I assume this may refer to Poughkeepsie, but does anyone know for sure? I am looking for a marriage record for a couple from Amenia and Sharon CT that married in 1793 and does not exist in Amenia or Sharon's records.
