Cornelius Osborn was born July 13 1723. He became a physician and resided in Rumbout, NY one-half mile north of Fishkill. He had at least three sons who were also doctors: James b Aug 13 1748, Peter b March 4, 1759 and Thomas b July 24, 1764. Dr. Cornelius Remsen came to study medicine with his 3 uncles who were bachelors so probably one of Cornelius Osborn's daughters married a Remsen. Does anyone know if James Osborn b 1748 remained a bachelor or did he marry? If he did marry then did he stay in Rumbout or did he move? I would appreciate any information for I'm looking for a James Osborn, a physician, who resided in Orange Co. NY circa 1774. This James was not in the Revolution because he was crippled, but he did help the soldiers with medical issues. Connie Jones Maguire **************Get trade secrets for amazing burgers.
