    1. Re: [NYDUTCHE] High school year books
    2. I could almost guarantee you that The school library has a complete set of year books In a message dated 7/26/2008 9:53:43 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time, loreenwl@peoplepc.com writes: Does anyone on this list have access to Poughkeepsie high school year books from about the late 1930s to the early 1940s? I have some photos I would like to identify. I got these photos from someone I discovered doing genealogy. She is the widow of my father's cousin. She lived in Norwalk CT those years and remembered a family of her husband's relatives visiting from Poughkeepsie. The pictures were taken not long after WWII. One of the people in the photos was about the same age as she and her husband, she says. She can't remember anything about them except that they came from Poughkeepsie. Since her husband was b. in 1920 and she was b. in 1923, it occurred to me that the young woman in the photos could be in one of those yearbooks. I could email the pictures if someone were willing and able to do this for me. This is a family that has some long roots in Dutchess Co. but from several directions. Finding these persons by process of elimination could maybe be done, but then I keep finding new pieces of the family in Dutchess Co., lots of people and by now multiple generations.
