My Sagers moved north from Columbia County NY in the early 1790's to southern Quebec. I know that there were Sagers in Ontario as well as in Quebec, but I do not know what the connection might be. Have you checked the book Loyalist Lineages of Canada? You might find a Loyalist family of Ontario Sagers who came from the same area that your Sagers did. Good luck with this.
