Carol, Poucher's Old Gravestones of Dutchess County includes inscriptions from the Methodist Churchyard of Matteawan (now part of the city of Beacon). Christ United Methodist Church on Philips St. in Beacon has custody of the records of both the Metteawan and Fishkill Landing Methodist churches, although there is some question as to whether they will have records as early as you are looking for (the records are probably missing).
