Looking for information on John Bernhart born June 1871 in Poughkeepsie, or some records say Kingston, NY. Parents listed on John's marriage record are James, b. Jan 1835 and Annie, but later records find James living with Rebecca A b. Feb 1846. It is not certain if James had two wives or if Annie and Rebecca A. are the same person. The family all moved to Lowell, MA after the birth of their children. Rebecca's mother was from NY, and her father from Illinois. James' family was from NY.
