The surname "BESURES" may be just another permutation of the surname BOSHAAR. In early church records of Ulster and Dutchess Co NY the name is seen spelled with many variations (i.e. BEESHAR, BEESHAREN, PEESHARING and PEESHAR). It has been suggested that the name Boettcher is also a variation of this same name. Hans Jacob Beshaar and his 2nd wife Christine Maurer (from Zweibrucken Germany) came in 1710 with 6 children with the Palatine emigration This family and some of their descendants are addressed in "Palatine Families of New York" by Henry Z.
