-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Please read this email and try to help me to find my 'possible' forefathers, if the are in NY (and .....farther in the USA) . I'am not sure they are there, nor in the past or on this moment.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (021114) Hello everybody in the USA and the genealogy, I am busy for a long time with the following item: In the Netherlands I seek my forefathers a.s.o. 'Wieseman' (with one 'n' on the end) which - so I know on this moment - in the past mainly lived in the provincy Noord-Holland (for instance in and near Amsterdam). On this moment I are coming in my pedigree to the level of my great-great-grandfather Fredrik Wieseman. The possible connection between my pedigree (under construc-tion) and the wieseman-loot I found (see under here !) exist perhaps on the level of the father of that Fredrik Wieseman. I found that loot-Wieseman via/on the internet but - so I said - I can't make the connection. The wieseman-loot I found consist of: a.. P(ieter) Wieseman (death in 1833); b.. his son F(rederik) W(ilhelm) Wieseman (born in Djokjakarta on 16 march 1830; married 22 may 1852 in Djokjakarta) c.. and (see under here: number 1:) Pieter George (born in Djokjakarta 13 july 1855 en death 19 november 1919 in the Hague in the Netherlands). The name Pieter also several times be found in my family-pedigree. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For this moment, I want ask all of you the followIng questions here under. Please, help me with your answers. I hope sure that also react the many Wieseman's in the USA . They are the 'potential' possibilities tot be descendants of perhaps my 'potential' family. For instance, in the past there are 4 wieseman's (with one 'n' on the end) who are registered as an immigrant on the site of Ellis Island. They are: 1.. On 8 juli 1893 arrived mr. Pieter George Wieseman, in that time 38 years old, with the ship the "Maasdam" from the harbourplace Bologne, Pas-de-Calais in France via Ellis Island and New York into America. I don't know if he stay in NY. About this man, I know that he was married (30 november 1878) with Helena Beretti, but she was not with him on Ellis Island. I don't know if he was divorced before he leaved the Netherlands - or not ! 2.. Also arrived on 8 juli 1893, via Ellis Island and New York mrs. L.Wieseman, on that time 54 years old. This woman travelled also with the ship the 'MAASDAM' from the harbourplace Boulogne, Pas-de-Calais in France. 3.. On 27 augustus 1912 arrived via Ellis island in New York a mr. Willem F.G.L.Wieseman, on that time 22 years old. This man (single) travelled also with the ship the 'MAASDAM" but from the harbourplace Rotterdam in the Netherlands. (The same ship as the numbers 1 and 2 but not the same time and not the same port of departure. 4.. On 24 march 1924 arrived further a mr. George Wieseman via Ellis island in New York, on that time 65 years old. This man (single; notice at 'n 'Ellis Island'-report: 'A U.S. citizen' ?) travelled with the ship Fort Victoria from the harbourplace Hamilton Bermuda. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- a.. So the numbers 1 and 2 - so I said earlier - travelled on the same day with the same ship. I don't know if the are relatives. The name Pieter - so said already - also be found several times in my family-pedigree. b.. From number 1 I know for instance that he died in in The Hague in the Netherlands on 19 november 1909 (then he was 54 years and 4 months old). That he was born on 13 july 1855 in Djokjakarta (Indonesiƫ) and later he had lived in Amsterdam and in The Hague in the Netherlands. So he lives perhaps for 16 years in the USA and perhaps he could have there a wife and . . . children and than now perhaps grandchilds and great-grandchilds. c.. The number 3 has 2 initials, so as the F of Frederik or Fredrik and the G of George, which also be found in the family from number 1. The F of Fredrik also be found several times in my family. For the rest via internet I discovered more Wieseman's in America with the combination: initial(s)-surname Fred(e)ri(c)k Wieseman. Consequently who knows (more)? d.. The number 4 has the name George which also be found in the family of number 1 and perhaps in the family of number 3. (His third initial is also an 'G'.) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All fantasy of mine, but I had to do so, I take many chances and guess, but after all: "never shooting is always missing !'. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's the reason I want try - with this sort of appeals in the USA - to find any descendants from number 1 (he lived there between his 38e and 54e year of his life, but I don't know his exact date of return to the the Netherlands) and the number 3 which arrived when he was 22 years old (I believe he stay in the USA for the rest of his life, is married there a.s.o.), but perhaps also from the number 4, although he was 65 years old when he arrived in Ellis Island. (Think to the notice at an 'Ellis Island'-report: 'A U.S. citizen'.) I hope I find them and . . . . I hear from them who can tells me somethings about also their relatives. (also via their fathers, forefathers and their great-forefathers) Also, I are interesting which other people with the surname Wieseman - which have bonds with other Wieseman's (with one 'n' on the end of the surname) and - in the past - with the Netherlands. I hope they will tell also something about their familybonds (also via their fathers, forefathers and their great-forefathers) for instance with the Netherlands. Please read this email and try to help me to find my 'possible' forefathers, if the are in the USA. However I'am not sure they are or were there. Hearty, friendly greetings and hopely thanks from Ben H.E.Wieseman inthe Netherlands. (sorry for my, perhaps not so perfect, english !)
