When I was young in the 50's my family occasionally got together with Ed De Die and his wife. I believe he lived on Parcells Ave in Rochester. My mother said they were relatives, but, as the family genealogist, I've never seen any family connection to the De Die family. If you have information on the family, perhaps some connection can be made. All my people originated in Zeeuws Vlaanderen (in which Oostburg is a village). Many of their grandchildren emigrated to Wayne County, NY in the mid 1800's. So I would also be interested in any information. Wendall, Petrus DE DIE married Johanna PROVO, sister of Susan PROVO, who as you know married Jacob CARLIER. I don't have any info on an Ed De Die as yet, but can only surmise at this point that he may be a direct descendant of Petrus and Johanna, if they are related to the CARLIERs.
