    1. [NYDUTCH] Waggoner Family, Schenectady Co.
    2. Dan Waggoner
    3. Hello, everyone. My name is Dan Waggoner and have just joined this list. I was wondering if anyone out there connects to two brothers from Schenectady Co., NY named John Emanuel and George Waggoner. John, from whom I am likely descended, appears to have been born there in abt. 1753. He later emigrated to Kingston, Frontenac Co, Ontario sometime in the 1790's. He had two sons named John and Emauel. The family was said to be Dutch, but it is my understanding that the word could refer to the Dutch or Germans at that time. John had a brother named George and the names of the parents are unknown. The spelling of the name has remained unchanged in my direct line of descent. If this sounds familiar to anyone, please let me know. Sinceely, Dan Waggoner
