I am searching for info on my ggrandfather Christiaan Bovenkamp/Bovencamp who came to Day Center, Saratoga Co. NY in 1847 from Holland. He was born abt. 1797 and died 1854. wish to hear from any one of his known family. One son, Harmon, died in the civil war at 18 yrs. old. Another son, Henry, after the civil war, lived at Edinburgh, Saratoga, NY and died there. Another son was my grandfather Barnard James b. 1851, lived in Idaho. Another son the youngest, was John C. Bovencamp. There were some daughters also. I believe Christian's wife may have been Jane or Dena. I also believe Dena may have married Elnathan Frasier after the death of Christian Bovencamp.
