I have ancestors that came from Hollond and first settled in New York (Washington and Columbia Counties) and then in about 1814 or just after, went first to Iowa and then to Louisiana (presumably down the Mississippi) and then were in Texas by early 1820's. I have not found the parents of this couple. When Lucretia applied for a Mexican Land Grant in Texas (1835) she stated that she was from Keneda. Can anyone help me with this family? Linda Bowden Texas
