    3. No, Libby, according to NY Dutch topic- listing. which I read when I subscribed....this list "NY Dutch" is only for those Dutch who arrived in US after the 1800's and NOT for topic of the Dutch Colonies. But thanks I have found what I needed...thanks to those who responded. Jeannette

    3. RE finding the Dutch Colonies-L Thanks to all who responded . The thing is... I could only find the Dutch Colonies list by finally going to Google. There it directed me to MISCELLANEOUS on the Roots Web Mailing Index. Previously when I went to Rootsweb Index, there was no D.Colonies listed under their "Other" lists, including the "miscellaneous" list...that's why my query in the first place. Is everybody totally confused now? (:)) The problem may be that the list is no longer opeartive...so we shall see. Jeannette
