Hello, My name is Joy Durell Fincher and I am searching for the parents of Silas Jordan FINCHER. Silas is believed to have been born on Manhattan Island, NY to Dutch parents. His date of birth is December 29, 1812. He ended up a traveling preacher in SC, NC and GA. His parents are believed to have come to America in the 1760's. We have lots of information on his descendants but we can't find his parents or any siblings. Recurrent first names in our family are Alva, Alphaeus, Sylvanus, and Silas.
