Because some of my ancestors came from Delaware Co., I have scanned through briefly almost all of the many messages that came through to see if a familiar name popped up. Tonight one did when I saw the name SCHOOLCRAFT. My wife's g-g-grandmother was Elizabeth SCHOOLCRAFT ROSE. She was b. July 14, 1807 in Schoharie Co. NY daughter of John ROSE and Rhoda CRIPPEN. Ab't 1837 they came to Columbia Twp. Bradford Co. PA. She had sister Sarah and brothers John and Hiram. She d. Oct. 26, 1898 at age 91. I forgot to mention she m. Justus WOOD Sept. 24, 1824. Seems there must be a connection here. I have her obit and a photo of her.
