A very warm welcome to Rene'. Thanks for the Roll Call invite. Here is one side of my oldest family Palmer and what information that I have. Being in the Raleigh, NC area, it is hard to get information from 500 miles away. Solomon Palmer was born at Van Cortlandt Manor, Westchester Co. on October 26, 1750, later moved to Pawling, Dutchess Co. and finally to Delhi/Andes townships in Delaware Co. NY, living to be 85. He was a veteran of the Revolution, is listed in "NY in the Revolution", and received a pension. Wife on land deeds is listed as Mary, Children listed on letters of administration are: Solomon Jr., William F., John (my line), Daniel, Hannah (m. William Yeoman of Delhi), Jonathan, Polly (m. Charles Higbie), Thomas ., and Elizabeth (m. David Earl), David being related to Moses Earle of the Anti-Rent fame. Solomon is my great grandmother's family, my father descends from Henry Palmer and Roxanne Faulkner, who came to Meridale, Delaware County from Cortland Co. about 1842. His and Her parents are unknown. Henry was born 1809, died June 18, 1847 a younger man. Roxanne was born 1807, died 1881.
