Hi Judy, Yes, we have been conversing about the two Joel Carley's and more. Looks like we have more names in common now. The only thing I have on Jenny Gray is what you've previously sent me. In searching my database of Gray's, I did notice I have a few different Gray lines in my tree. I have an Andrew GRAY married to Ellen NN with daughter, Sarah N (Nellie) GRAY, b. 1840 in Castine, ME. She married John PAGE of MA. Per another researcher, her death certificate states she was born in Castine, but Gray's of Castine do not recognize the names. John PAGE and Sarah GRAY had a daughter, Amy, b. 1867 in Boston, MA. Amy married Nicolas RODEMS in 1888 in Springfield, IL. That is where most of my lines are in IL. But, my husband's lines (Delaware Co included) were in Morgan Co. I also have a Lucie Mae GRAY who married Charles Raymond RODEMS, a first cousin once removed of Nicolas above. They were also in Springfield. For the CARLEY's in IL, my Elnora Marinda CARLEY, b. 1847 in NY and found in Tompkins Co census, was married to Lucas GADDIS in Knox Co, IL in 1867. I believe I have a copy of their wedding photo. They later lived in Bureau Co, IL through 1880. Although, she is buried in Knox Co in 1882. Her father, James Van Rensaleer CARLEY migrated to IL in 1850 with the family. Now for the MERWIN/MERVIN's. I have a Margaret MERWIN, b. 1803 in Ireland. She married Patrick SALMON in IL in 1853 and dies in Springfield, IL in 1892. I thought I had some other MERWIN's, but they aren't coming up in my search. Maybe I haven't entered them yet. I don't know anything about here except this. Who is Alexander GRAY?
