Hi CalamityJane, I have a DISTANT cousin: Nellie Sprague Vail was the daughter of Frank Sprague and Flora B. St.John. She married Ernest James Vail between October 18, 1913 and March 13, 1915. She was born January 19, 1889 and died January, 1970. She is buried in the Walton Town and Village Cemetery in Walton, NY, per that website, no dates, but she's beside her husband and son Willard. All references to her are in Walton, Delaware County, NY, as are her parents, so I think she was born there. Is this any help to you, or do you think we are connected? Barbara Heard

Barbara Do you have any idea who Frank Sprague was the son of ? One of my Sprague relatives had at least 15 children so anything is possible, BUT most of the Spragues I find are descended from Abel. Mine appear first in t/o Middletown starting with Ezra bc1794 h/o Harriet DuMond. evelyn
