    3. Resending; Hi Steve, I was getting so many emails I decided to unsubscribe a few days ago, but Rene kept me on. I have a Mary Simonson b 1834 parents John Simonson b 1801 and Lois Colby b1807 and a Mary A. Simonson b 1866 parents James Simonson b 1840 and Mary Jane McLean b 1840 Our McLean line goes back to Charles McLean b abt 1752 and wife Hannah Decker b 1752 and her line goes back to Broer Decker in the 1600s. There is a book on Decker Family. Last of Our Decker line --- George W. Decker b 1806 and wife Hannah McLean, are in cemetery at Methodist church Grand Gorge. During the time of the American Revolution a Van Arsdale family changed their name to Simonson and came up from New Jersey and settled in SW Schoharie County and across into Delaware County from Grand Gorge to Stamford. I have that Simonson line back to Van Arsdale and Van Arsdale back to 1600s, but that is one line, not collateral lines. Now, I do not know how much information you have, but I am interested. There was another McLean family in Delaware, very prominent I believe. I would like to know what info you have on the McLeans even if we don't connect. We do have Russell ancestors, but only in Massachusets 1700s. Roy in Ohio

    3. Hi Roy, Do you have a Gorton Paul McLean in your line? Gorton was my Grandfather. He owned McLean's Food Store in Walton with his brother, Jerry. I don't remember when they sold it. If memory serves me it's a drug store now. I remember as a little boy walking down there with my grandmother when I would visit in the summers. He also had a brother James and a sister Katherine. Thanks for any info you can help with, cause my grandmother (Eloise) doesn't know much about his ancestors. -- All the Best & 73's Dale Miller, KC2CBD Tennessee Ham Operator since 1997 Member of YahooPipesmokers and ASP since February 2005 stpatrick2spam@twlakes.net stpatrick3spam@twlakes.net stpatrick3spam@gmail.com (cut the spam to reply) VOTE TO REBUILD! www.twintowersalliance.com --- Roy Crawford wrote: > Resending; > > Hi Steve, > > I was getting so many emails I decided to unsubscribe a few days ago, > but Rene kept me on. > > I have a Mary Simonson b 1834 parents John Simonson b 1801 and Lois > Colby b1807 and a Mary A.
