Abbie is the only one with a small stone marking her grave. Obit from Maywood Historical Group, Sidney Center NY Also a copy from Walton Library copy provided both copies from Janice Locker WALLACE E DEMELT Wallace E DeMelt, nearly a life long resident of Delaware county passed away Monday, Feb 24, at the Stevens Hospital at Walton. Mr DeMelt was born at Merrickville, May 1, 1860, and a large part of his life was spent on a farm Merrickville. On his retirement he spent a year and a half in Syracuse and then returned to this station, where he has since made his home. Mr DeMelt is survived by two sons, Howard C DeMelt of Syracuse and Stanley R DeMelt of Pittsfield, Mass. The funeral was held at 2 o'clock Wednesday at the Holmes funeral home, Rev Har H Bergen officiating.
