For what it is worth, I have a whole Kemp family who are located in Manchester Township, Wayne County, PA, which is just across the Delaware River from the Hancock area of Delaware County, NY. The earliest Kemp in this family was born in England about 1840 according to various Census records. One member of this family, Clarence Kemp, married my third cousin, Myrtle Almeda Lewis. She was from another part of Wayne County, PA. Carol Potter Meadows In a message dated 10/17/2006 9:54:42 AM Eastern Standard Time, catgh@msn.com writes: Hi, I'm interested in your Kemp connection. My grandmother's sister, Marion Sutherland, married Rob Kemp. They had two children, Nell and Leslie. Neither married. Their farm was on what is now called Kemp Road near Meridale. They are buried in the Franklin cemetery as far as I remember.
