I have a John Hendrix who m. Elizabeth Finkle; he died Elizabeth m2 Dumond. That's as good as I have on the Hendrix. He apparently lived in t/o Middletown at that time, although daughter Phebe Ann (b 1852) told a story of going to Illinois c1860 and the trip back to New York State making her very sick. Phebe Ann Hendrix m. Aaron Sprague (s/o Wm Sprague and Harriet VanSteenburgh) and are my great grandparents. So where did the Hendrix family come from ? evelyn
