I'm looking for the parents of Fred Ballantyne (1884-1933) and Lena Ballantyne (Mrs. George B.) Dewey (1877-1901). They were taken in by Thomas and Elizabeth (McAuslan) Ballantyne of the Town of Hamden, appearing in the Ballantyne household on the 1892 census. As executor of Elizabeth's estate in 1920, Fred wrote that he was taken in and treated as a son by the Ballantynes, but was not formally adopted. Helene Ballantyne
