Hi Bonnie, Yes, the Census records are from Ancestry.Com. For a paid subscription price they have all Census records that are available from 1790, first Census, through 1930. They are indexed; however, some of the transcription for the index leaves a bit to be desired. You sometimes have to search the index by first name and locality to find the family you are looking for. But it is the best way to find folks that seem to be constantly moving. I think having the subscription is well worth every penny that I pay for it. Just as a side note, if you can't afford the ancestry.com subscription, you might want to check our your local Family History Center run by the Mormon Church. All FHC's have access to ancestry.com and a few other pay sites. All for free to you. The only thing you can't get to is the Canadian records from there. If your local FHC doesn't have access to it or the internet, they just need to call the central office in Salt Lake City and get information on how they can. Carol, Thanks. What else do they have (Ancestry) and what do they charge?
