Another fun resource for you Walton researchers ... I just donated a trascription of Reta L. Elwood's birthday book to Joyce's website. The book lists the birthdays of about 120 Walton-area residents, along with her notes, including two newspaper clippings. The earliest birthdate appears to be 1828, and the newest about 1964. Don't let the "Elwood" name keep you from checking this list for your surname ... Reta listed her friends here, as well. Women appear to be listed by married name.
