Their children were recorded at Greenfield, CT, i.e.: Joseph who was at Middletown in 1790; Nathan and Daniel (Tharp) were at that time at Harpersfield. Joseph was born in 1750 per his pension application. Joseph Jr. was born in 1779. The 1790 census indicated another male over 16, two more under 16 and two females. In 1832 Joseph was at Livingston Co. and in 1835 at Cayuga Co., NY. Gershom's son Ezra was at Harpersfield in 1832. Nathan, born & baptized in 1759, married at Wilton CT in 1789 Huldah Rowland. In 1790 census there was 1 other male over 16, four under 16 and 3 females. In 1802 he was at Schoharie, then Cayuga and about 1817 to Ontario and died at Ohio in 1840. Daniel in 1790 had a boy and two females in his household. In 1833 still in Harpersfield. Their sister Hannah was baptized in 1768 and married a Davis. Abigail Thorp, daughter of another Nathan, born 1749 married Ephraim Beers, Sr., lived Harpersfield in 1790 and died at Walton by 1830. Hannah, daughter of Peter Thorps married in 1753 to Elnathan Williams, Sr. --------------------- Pg. 40: Wheeler John Wheeler in 1800 census, over 45 years old with two males 16-25, one male 10-15, and three males and a female under 10. Married Amelia Williams, born 1756 at Easton. Silas Wheeler married Fanny Robertson at Pike, NY and died in 1868 at Pennsylvania. They adopted Eunice Bennett. Amos N. Wheeler deeded in 1836-1838 to Jeremiah H. Jones. Clarine (spelling)? Wheeler married Bradley Sherwood, who was born in 1808. Nelson K. Wheeler obtained deed from Daniel Gould in 1836 and in 1837 he deeded to Samuel Sherwood and another from NY City in their possession for $1. Deborah Wheeler married 1) Ignatius Nichols Jr. who died in 1764, and 2) Luther Gould Sr. at Fairfield. Ignatius's parents were Ignatius Sr. and Abigail Staples.
