On the NYDElawa site, there are 2 references to the marriage of James Elliot and Emma Franklin. 1) Marriages from Delhi Republican Newspapers 1860 -1869 and 2) Excerpts from the Book '100 Years in the History of Delhi NY 1860 - 1960 Married 13 November 1865, in Andes These names do not appear on any other indexes or lists. Where can I find any additional record that would confirm, i.e.; his parents names, etc.that he is the James Elliot I am looking for. Thank you, Jeannie Coston
