He was born in 1815, son of Charles Clark Sanford and Mary Smead. He was listed in the 1850 census with his wife and four children but after that only his wife and six children (two born in the 1850s) are listed. He doesn't seem to be buried in the Arkville Cemetery where other family members were buried. He may have gone by Perry Sanford. He married Elizabeth Travis His children were: 1. Sarah Adeline b. abt 1843, married William Dimmick married around 1864. Sarah and William's children were: Caroline Elizabeth, Edward Hiram, Perry S., George L., John E., Fred K., and Wesley C. 2. James W. - b. abt. 1845 who I believe moved to Michigan around 1880 3. John P. - b. abt. 1847 4. Betsey Ann - b. abt 1849 - who I believe married Edward S Hall 5. Eunice b. abt 1854 6. William (Wilson) b. abt 1857 - moved to Michigan abt. 1880 It appears that Wilson lived with John Smith Sanford and his wife Eliza Ann during the 1860 census. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
