Hi Kathy, I am from the William Sanford line.? He was married to Huldah Hull.? Their Daughter Phebe Sanford married Samuel Reed Jr.? Their daughter, Sarah Reed married Luas C. Hicks in Ogle County, Il. 1846.? Lucas and Sarah are buried in the LaSalle Cemetery Chillicothe Illinois.? Luscas' grandfather Levi Hicks came to Delaware Co., NY about 1794 from Nova Scotia.? His son Joel Hicks married Phebe Coleman in Delaware County.? About 1815-16 they moved to Ohio and 1830 moved to Illinois.? Sarah Reed was born in Ohio.? This is just alittle information to help the timeline with the Sanfords going went west.
