06/03/07 Hi, My Kincaid family was originally from Scotland and settled in Albermarle C., Virginia prior to 1776. They then moved to Missouri and then on to CA. I'm not sure when they came to America but part of the family could have settled in New York. My McAdam side of the family came from Hamden, Delaware Co., New York.
