I've never dealt with Legacy.com before, but had noticed that our local paper - The Daily Star is now having their obits go there instead of their local archive. I must say I was very disappointed to see that there was a charge for the obit. I'm glad to hear that it might only be for some and not all, even going back to the 1990's is a huge help in some of our research.
