Hello Everyone I hope this post isn't asking too many questions. During the period of 1840-1860 when the Fergusonville Academy was founded in Delaware county, there were Ferguson families around Gorham, Ontario , e.g., John Ferguson b abt 1767. This John Ferguson was listed as "mulatto". It seems that most of this family moved to Delaware county. In Lyons-Broadalbin, Fulton/Wayne county, there was a John Ferguson b abt 1765/ There was a school at Ferguson Corners in Lyons. (Can someone sugest how I might find the father of the mulatto John Ferguson?) Any help or comments will be appreciated. Robert A. Ferguson San Jose, CA
