Rene, I appreciate your work in trying to keep the list "commercial free" but I hope you will consider listing eBay auctions on a case by case basis, on the merits of the item and its relevance to the list. I have benefited immensely from having people post these things. I actually found and bought a 200 year old family bible of my 8th great grandfather's on eBay - and it never would have happened if someone hadn't written to one of my lists and said "guess what I found!"
