1. First and foremost this is to be a Genealogical Discussion Group. A sharing of ideas, information and questions pertaining to the Delaware County. The sharing of information and asking questions is what helps the most. 2. There will be and I stress no foul language of any kind, no off colored jokes or rude remarks to any other members of the listÂ… posted to the this list. If you want to do so amongst yourselves, fine. 3. There are to be no attached files posted to the list. They will be rejected by rootsweb. 4. If you have a question about a post, not sure if it will be allowed, email me first, privately. Do not just post it. What may be important to you may not be to others. 6. Use plain text when posting to the list. Html will get rejected. 7. This is a family oriented list. I welcome suggestions, hints, trivia etc , IF it is related to Delaware County or genealogy. 8. Please no test messages. If there is a problem with your email, email me privately not through the list. 9. Please be considerate of those using the digest mail. This means delete all information that is not pertinent to your email. 10. Please change the subject line when replying if it has nothing to do with what your message is about. I realize that every once in a while we all may forget to do this, but let's try our best. 11. Do not post objections to list mail via the list. Email me directly and privately. Doing so only adds to the disruption. 12. Do not post unsubscribe notices to the list. This is also a disruption to others. I sometimes do not read all mail, so your notice may be lost in the shuffle. The directions for unsubbing are below, or you can email me directly and privately. Last but not least, this is not a moderated list. Meaning that all posts are automatically sent to the list members. If I have a problem with a poster and he/she is ignoring the rules, I will moderate them, and if that person repeatedly ignores the list rules, I will remove them permanently from the list.
