First of all, did I ever send you a copy of the Dann Family History that I transcribed in 1997 from a manuscript in my grandfather's possession? If I did, fine. If not, let me know and I'll pop it into the mail for you. According to that write-up, Ebenezer (b. 21 July 1768) mar. Sarah Jones 1 Dec 1790 in New Canaan CT. They had 8 children, Phoebe being the 3rd (b. 1795), and my gr-gr grandfather, Harvey, being the last (b. 1806). None of the 8 children was named Ebenezer, after the father. Nor in Ebenezer's family was there a sister named Phoebe. So there's no question, if I'm looking at things right, that Ebenezer was the father and Phoebe was the daughter. However, I must have mistakenly deleted your first message without reading it, so I have no idea of the context you're talking about. Just to catch up, I'm now living in Charlotte NC, about 10 mins. away from my daughter. Moved here from Richmond last year. Sally I have been searching for information on a Joel Dann that was married to a relative of mine, Elizabeth Lee, who was born in 1815 in Dutchess co. N.Y. They were married Oct. 14, 1841 in Luzerne co Pa. Could this Joel be in your line and if so do you have any info. I have lots of info on the Lee line I would be glad to share.
