I'm looking for Derby's in Delhi. In particular Theodore N. Derby b. abt 1835 d. between 1870-1880 when his wife is found in Lackawanna PA married to a John Johnson. Theodore was married to Eliza Shove b. abt 1837. Theodore and Eliza had 3 children, Lucy, Samuel and Carrie. I find a newspaper article that says a T. N. Derby has opened a saloon in the basement of the drug store. I find him in the 1870 Delhi census with family and it states that he is a retired hotel owner. After that I lose him. We then find his daughter Lucy in the Johnson household in Lackawanna PA, with mother and step father. I cannot find burial information regarding Theodore, is anyone else researching this family?
