Hello Everyone, This is to let you all know that there have been some changes at rootsweb regarding the mailing list. When subscribing to a mailing list there are 2 choices that a list administrator can make, we can make it so that you need administrator approval to subscribe, or we can make it so that you will get a confirmation email which is a link that you will have to click on to subscribe. The 2nd way is how this list is set up for the moment. In the past, with this list you would automatically be subscribed. This has changed because we have had spammers hit several lists - they are subscribing and unsubscribing after the spam is sent. The hope is that if they have to go through this 2nd step they won't bother. Hopefully too, those who are changing email addresses and unsubscribing and resubscribing won't question too much the change in format.
