    3. Hi Forrest, Unfortunately, I don't have any Elihu Fuller's in my data base. The only Fuller's that I have are in connection with the Birdsall and Shepherd families. My research in Delaware County has taken me only through Masvonville and parts of Walton at this time. Rene' -------Original Message------- From: Forrest L. Way back in the early 1800s a daughter of Elihu Fuller, my 3rd gt grandfather, married a Bennett. They had a son, Elihu Bennett. His first name and any other children have eluded me. Her name was Mariah (Mary) Fuller, born before 1800 in Fishkill, NY, but moved with the family to Bovina shortly after 1800. If you can add to this it would be appreciated. Thank you, Forrest L. 2. Patty - I see that you are doing a lot of the Nutmegger look-ups and assume that you've already looked into these names --- As you probably already know, we are descendants of the Carley/Sherwood/Jackson CT marriages in CT and Nutmeggers Gray, Covey, Lewis, Stever and Hubbell in NY with Fuller, Jellett, Bouton, Cady and Mallory in another close branch - I know this is a big list and I've tried to obtain the book for myself but have gotten no response from the author(s?) so assume that they are no longer able to provide for whatever reasons, so if there's anything in it that refers to the Carleys/Kerleys at all, we'd be ever so grateful and not forgetting how much I already owe you -- Judy

She was born 11 Sept. 1770 and died 20 July 1845. They are buried at Doonan's Corners Cemetery in Kortright. Since the towns are not far from each other, this COULD be the family connection that's been eluding me. Does anyone have some data on the Spencers of Otsego County? 3. Annette, Which Scofields from Masonville died in the flu epidemic? Some of those Scofields married into my Bennett family. Rene' -------Original Message------- From: Annette Campbell Date: 11/22/2006 11:03:08 AM To: Delaware County LIST Subject: [NYDELAWA] Preston and Fitch---help please I am trying to find the family of one Justus Preston and his wife Lucretia and their 7 children, 4 boys and 3 girls. Justus seems to be buried alone in Franklin, Delaware Co, NY. I know there was a rather large Preston family across the county in the Middletown twp. area who came from CT. I cannot so far connect Justus to this group and need some help from someone who may know more about the Preston family than I can locate. Next problem: My gg grandma was Melvina Hannah Fitch b. 1841 in or near Walton, a daughter of John Fitch b. 1811. She was a paternal twin to Mahlon Fitch according to the Walton Historian who had a book that chronicled the Fitch family back a few generations into CT. I cannot find Mahlon anywhere and wonder if anyone knows anything of what may have happened to him. Did he died in the 1852 Flu epidemic along with 3 members of the Scofield family of Masonville or did he die in the Civil War or marry and move far from Delaware County?????? I would love to find what happened to my gg uncle Mahlon. As an aside, Melvina married Gilbert Northup b. 1833 in Franklin, NY and they moved to Steuben Co, NY with their son George b. 1859. She died in 1881 in Hartsville, Steuben Co, NY age 40y old. Any help from anyone, no matter how small a clue greatly appreciated. 3. That's the strange thing about this family. There seem to be tons of Harlow Bundy's all over the United States. But, in the direct line I think I'm tracing, it is only Harlow E Bundy of IBM and one other descended from him. Somewhere this Harlow(e) name comes in farther back. Don't know if it's a maiden surname or what. Is the farmhouse in Delaware Co? When I was there a few years ago one of my husband's descendants farmhouses was for sale. I didn't find it until the day I was leaving. But, had contacted the RE agent. It was her aunt and uncle's house, but they never wrote me back about my questions about the house. Could probably pursue it with the new owners if they wouldn't mind. It was a farmhouse right down the road from the big mill in Meredith/Davenport (can't remember which right now.) I also just noticed the surname Harlow on the Delaware Co page looking for the name of the mill. Hmmmm????? Anyway, off to my aunt's house for now. Might be able to do some searching on her computer in between getting things ready. I guess Thanksgiving must come first today! Happy Thanksgiving to all! This is not to say that he is not connected, just says that this family is a very large family and I have not researched every single member of that family. I also do not have an Oliver. I can find no Oliver or O in CT or NY in 1830 without taking time to be creative finding him. Will have to try that later this weekend. I believe Harlow Bundy's line goes backwards from Pasadena, CA to Binghamton, NY to Auburn, NY to Otsego Co, NY to Preston, New London, CT (in 1760 with this person being married in Westfield, MA in 1785) three more generations back to Taunton, MA to Kent, England. That is if the line on Ancestral File on familysearch.org is correct. I have not had a chance to prove it yet. (There is no contact information and there was no line submitted to PRF as current info.) Although, I did see a message on the list about someone in the line.
