Hi Linda, I take it that you are willing to do a lookup for names in the Masonville index that you have. I would be interested in whether there are any BAXTER names listed. Possible given names (among others) are Nathan, Moses, and Tyler. Thank you, Jerry Cahill
Larry, If you find the names that you are interested in let me know and I will look them up for you. Linda
Thank you for the info. Will check it out. Linda
Hi Linda, I am wondering how the death of the book's author affect any copyright infringement. If the book only recorded what was in the public domain ... vital records that any of us, if we were in the area, could go look up for ourselves .... then those records may not be covered by copyright laws. Perhaps if you contact one of her survivors, they may have a different view, and allow you to post your index online. Just some thoughts. Carol Potter Meadows In a message dated 11/24/2006 12:58:43 PM Eastern Standard Time, landk@capital.net writes: Hi Larry, I have an index that I created from the Masonville Vital Records book by Shirley Goerlich. Before her death I had written and ask her if this could be put on the internet. She said no. However, if there are names you wish for me to look up will gladly do so.
