I am interested in anyone doing research on the following Baldwin's in Delaware county, Asashel, Icabod, Isaac, Simon, Samuel, Ransford and Tera. I find all these names in the 1820 census. I am looking for Aaron Baldwin b.1800 (ct or ny) who does not show up in the 1820 census. I am wondering if he could be living with one of the above Baldwins.(possibly as a son). Aaron is in the 1830 census for Franklin Twp. with an older adult male (between 50-60) living in his household. I would appreciate any help or clues. Thank you, Paula Malikowski

Congratulations!! I too am working on my DAR, and so far they are not approving it, 3 years of waiting and hard work before that. We have books stating the connection, but they are denying because they say the information in the books - notice books, plural - is hearsay even though it is through a relative. Now going over every little detail we can find to add to the application. War. His son is Cornelius Bassett. About 3 years ago they told me they wouldn't approve the application because I only have a preponderance of proof that he is the father of Joanna Bassett my GGgrandmother. I should get a copy of the application with their notes on how the proof was finally made. I am please that this line has finally been accepted. The line now goes back to the Mayflower.

Thanks, Linda. I'll keep this in mind as I research the Bundy's after the holidays. Any chance anyone knows who this Harlow Bundy's father was? I've just looked through the census records and can't seem to identify him. Possibly Benjamin Bundy who has 5 20-30 year old men living with him in 1830 census in Masonville? I am still looking for more information on the Dr. Daniel Fuller family. Daniel Fuller, b. January, 1766, (W.Avon Congregational Ch. records, Hartford Co. CT) m. Abigail Miller, b. Torringford (nr. Torrington) CT, 24 May 1767 They migrated to what became Delaware Co. in the mid to late 1790s where we find them on the Worcester (now Otsego Co.) 1800. We know through primary sources of daughter Abigail Fuller, b. ca. 1793, who married 1st Frederick Wilbur, and married 2nd Jonathan Brewer. There are other children about whom we know fairly certainly from family histories: sons Daniel and Hiram Fuller, daughters Ora and Sophia Fuller who in succession married Selah Booth, as well as Eliza Fuller who married Benjamin Bliven, a possible Hannah Fuller and Beulah Fuller. This is just a bare bones sketch of my Fuller Family in Delaware/Otsego counties. Does anyone else on the list descend from any of these children of Daniel and Abigail Fuller? Many thanks, Marylyn > >
Linda, If you have time, would you see if there are any Vansice/Cise or Rose names listed. Thanks for you time. Betty Gregory
Hi, There was no listing for Bertha and John. You must apply to the Town Clerk in the town where the certificate was issued, not where they were married. Did they live in another Town such as Sidney or Deposit? They might have applied at the Town Clerk's Office in the where they resided and then went to Jasonville to get married. Linda
Hi Mary, You have helped me tremendously in the past with my Cable and Burrows families and it was you who told me about the "Intermarriages . . ." book, which was such a big help. I can't thank you enough for that. My line is through Charles M. Cable, son of Abram M. Cable and Elizabeth (Betsey) Jennette Burrows. Abram being a son of Joseph and Betsey (Nichols) of "The Den." Charles made his way to Mt. Holly, Burlington Co., NJ, where his son Harry Joseph was born. Harry was my grandfather. Charles died in Camden, NJ in 1923. Mary, I need to thank you again, you are one great lady and I'm sure that all of those people out there who you have helped will agree with me. Barb
Very interested in sharing notes. Christina was my 3rd great grandmother. I have some information on some of the children, but not much. I also show an Ed Scott, but I don't have anything in my notes on him, just a question mark, most likely someone gave me the name and stuck him in. Did Abraham move back to Greene County before he died? I have that he died there but is buried in Masonville, but I don't know if this is true or not? I would love to have birth/death & Marriage information on Lydia & Abraham's children to finish up my file on that end. I have information on Christina s family if you are interested. I believe that the house where they lived while Christina was alive is still standing - they lived with her one son Henry - whom everyone called "Great Uncle Henry". My grandfather would talk of him, he made a lasting impression because Henry died when my grandfather was 12.
