    1. [NYCORTLA] Help Please, surname Clark
    2. Hello Everyone, I need all the help I can get, I am really stuck. This is from Minard's book of history Henry Clark is the son of Lyman Clark, son of David Clark, who's father came from Ireland and settled in Connecticut where David was born. He came to Tully, Corland Co. N.Y. where Lyman was born in 1804, about which time David brought his family to Warsaw and was an early settler of Wyoming Co. Lyman married a Miss Spoor, children were; Henry, born, May 30, 1835, Anna, Isaac W. born 1839, Cornelius, Catherine, George, Maria and Virginia. Mr Clark died in 1880. Henry has always been a farmer. He married in 1857, Candace, daughter of Stephen Rice. What I need is Lyman's wifes name and his mothers name, or David's fathers name. The counties change so much, I don't know where to look. The LDS files have sealed the records of this family per request of person unknown. I have no idea what church it could have been. I have called county historians, who for some reason refuse to look for me, said I could do it myself, but I am in Michigan unable to go to N.Y. Any help here would be great! The children of Lyman were born in Hume according to what the LDS would put out, except Catherine and George I believe were born in PA. thank you so much, Cathy Obeshaw wind0spirt@aol.com the 0 is a zero
