Smith's History on the Cortland site specifically mentions Darius, whose picture is in the page: "Mr. Rowley came to South Cortland in 1826 and bought the place now owned by the heirs of Darius Sanders ; the latter was a brother of Charles Sanders the school book author. " There is a query on the site from ginman9@home.com, but the address seems to be invalid. I'm hoping that ginman9, or a relative, is on the list.
