To Sydney the last poster to list: No, you are not paranoid. Some are a bit late to realize that all of this would come about when the conglomerate Ancestry purchased our beloved Rootsweb. Said no changes, yea. I then knew and it is here. Expect much, much more. Some genealogists are unaware that all the endeavors, Ancestry, My Family etc. information put on the web has always been gathered, placed on cd rom and sold, at least some of it. A lot of us all supported Rootsweb, but alas not enough of those using it. Sure do wish Rootsweb largest free genealogy endeavor around was really still around. I may be barred from this list, as it comes from the same place. Everyone who has "free web space" from Rootsweb, and also have large, gedcom databases, might see who actually owns these now. I do not know that answer, but do know some at the first pulled them off. Not trying to cause a brew-ha-ha, but like so many others, disturbed by what I knew would begin. Expect more changes-of this I feel certain. J.M.B.
