Dear Jeanne, My Crandall connection is very minor--a daughter of a 4th great uncle married a William Vet Crandall in Marathon, Cortland Co., NY. (His father's name was Edward James Crandall b. abt 1848 Binghamton.) However, I found a great book that highlights lots of Crandalls--even those that have not been identified as related to the title subject. It's name is ELDER JOHN CRANDALL OF RHODE ISLAND AND HIS DESCENDANTS. I'm sorry that I don't have the author's name. I failed to add it to the page I copied from the book.
